Recessed Power Track Sockets

Buying guide
How to choose a recessed power track
Plan the cutout first
A recessed (concealed) track needs a slot in the surface it goes into. The R 500 needs a cutout of 495 × 71 × 18 mm and the R 1000 needs 995 × 71 × 18 mm (length × width × depth). The track face is 80 mm wide and the profile is 19 mm high.
Give these dimensions to your carpenter or fabricator before the table top or counter is made, and agree where the supply cable will come up to one end of the track. The track is clamped into the cutout with the supplied hardware so that its face sits flush with the surface.
500 mm or 1000 mm
Both tracks are rated 250 V AC, 32 A, 8,000 W maximum continuous load, so the choice is about how many socket positions you need and how long the furniture is. The R 500 suits a single desk or a short worktop. The R 1000 gives a conference or meeting table up to 10 positions along one metre.
Sockets are added as adaptor modules, sold separately or with the track in a combo. For table layouts see power track for offices and conference tables.
Before you order
The R Series has no LED strip; that is a feature of the surface tracks. Recessed tracks are IP20 and made for dry indoor use, so in a kitchen counter keep the track away from the sink and the hob splash zone. Installation is by a qualified electrician on a dedicated circuit with a 32 A Type B/C MCB and a 30 mA RCCB upstream. The installation guide covers the wiring and the cutout in order.
