Power Track for Offices & Conference Tables
A recessed power track socket set flush into a conference table gives every seat a socket within reach, with USB-C charging on the same rail. The same system works along desks, workstations and reception counters.
Why a track in the table
Power at every seat
Level with the table top
A recessed track sits in a slot cut to size, with its 80 mm face level with the surface. There is no pop-up box to open and no cable lying across the table.
Up to 10 sockets per metre
The R 1000 holds up to 10 adaptor modules and the R 500 up to 5, so one rail down the middle of the table serves both sides.
USB-C beside the mains sockets
The S Ultra module has two USB-C Power Delivery ports and locks into the same track as the socket modules.
Rearranged by hand
After the track is wired in, anyone can add, swap or shift modules: twist to release, twist to lock. The electrician does not need to come back.

The cutout in a conference or boardroom table
For a meeting table the usual choice is the R 1000 recessed track, set into the table top along its centre line. Give the furniture maker the cutout before the top is made: 995 × 71 × 18 mm for the R 1000 and 495 × 71 × 18 mm for the R 500 (length × width × depth).
Settle early how the supply cable reaches the table, for example up through a table leg. The electrician and the furniture maker should agree that route together, because it decides which end of the track the cable enters.
How many sockets per seat
One metre of track holds up to 10 adaptor modules on 100 mm centres. As a starting point, count one mains socket for each seat that regularly has a laptop on it, add USB-C charging that neighbours can share, and keep a few positions for the display, speakerphone or other equipment on the table. You do not have to fill every position on day one: modules can be added later.
Modules for a shared table
A meeting room sees more kinds of plug than a single desk does. The S 91 International Universal accepts Type A, B, C and I plugs, which is why it is the usual module for shared desks and visitor seats. Add S 44 modules for British BS1363 (Type G) plugs, S 49 for German Schuko (Type F) and S 1+ for NEMA Type A and B if your teams or clients carry them.
The S Ultra adds two USB-C Power Delivery ports, so fewer charger bricks end up on the table. Before relying on it for a laptop, check the laptop's charging wattage against the output listed on the S Ultra product page. For office equipment with an Indian round-pin plug (Type D 6 A or Type M 16 A), talk to us before you order so we can confirm which module suits it.
Desks, workstations and reception
At a single desk, an S 500 surface track screwed along the back edge, or to the wall above it, gives up to 5 positions and a motion-activated LED strip without cutting the furniture. Where the desk top is being made to order, an R 500 recessed into it keeps the surface flat. Hot desks and reception counters follow the same rule: surface where the furniture already exists, recessed where it is still being built.
For architects and fit-out contractors
Every track is rated 250 V AC, 32 A, 8,000 W and IP20 for dry indoor use, and is installed by a qualified electrician on a dedicated circuit with a 32 A Type B/C MCB and a 30 mA RCCB upstream. The product page of each track carries a tender clause you can copy into a specification. For quantities, black or silver finishes and a project quote, send your drawings through the contact page. Dimensions, ratings and compliance are in the tech sheets:

| Furniture | Track | Cutout (L × W × D) | Socket positions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small meeting table | One R 500 | 495 × 71 × 18 mm | Up to 5 |
| Conference table | One R 1000 | 995 × 71 × 18 mm | Up to 10 |
| Long boardroom table | Two or more tracks along the centre line | One cutout per track | Up to 10 per metre of track |
| Existing desk or workstation | One S 500, surface-mounted | None | Up to 5 |

Frequently asked questions
Common questions about power track for conference tables and desks.
The 1000 mm R 1000 needs a cutout of 995 × 71 × 18 mm and the 500 mm R 500 needs 495 × 71 × 18 mm (length × width × depth). Give these to the furniture maker before the table top is made.
Plan one mains socket for each seat that regularly holds a laptop, shared USB-C charging, and a few positions for equipment on the table. An R 1000 holds up to 10 adaptor modules, and a long table can take more than one track.
Yes. The S Ultra module has two USB-C Power Delivery ports and fits any SAGA track next to the mains socket modules. Compare your laptop's charging wattage with the output shown on the S Ultra product page.
The S 91 International Universal accepts Type A, B, C and I plugs. For British BS1363 (Type G) plugs fit the S 44, for German Schuko (Type F) the S 49, and for NEMA Type A and B the S 1+. Different modules can share one track.
Yes. Unplug the device, rotate the module counter-clockwise and lift it straight up, then push it in at another position and rotate it 90° clockwise until the blue LED ring lights. No tools or rewiring are involved.
By a qualified electrician, on a dedicated circuit protected by a 32 A Type B/C MCB and a 30 mA RCCB upstream. The supply cable enters one end of the track, so its route through the table is agreed with the furniture maker in advance.
Yes. Send the table sizes, quantities and finish through the contact page and we will reply with a quote. Tech sheets for the R Series, the S Series and the adaptor modules are linked on this page.
